Fujirumors has dropped another bomb onto the camera market with this sneaky shot of a the much talked about but never seen Fuji X-A1, the lost cousin of the XM-1 which we all dearly adore. Is this real? Could it be faked? Or worst...could this be the Beta camera no one wants to talk about? |
Such faked announcements could have dire consequences on product movements globally. But for now, the word out is that the X-mount cameras are all out of stock thanks to the demand.
A cheaper camera by all definitions would be made cheaper by the inclusion of more streamlined design, and less dials. If you didn't already know, each dial mechanism is an additional cost to the manufacturer.
A cheaper entry level X-mount means that it has to be cheaper by design and manufacture. For this alone, I can't see this happening with the current picture shown here of the elusive X-A1.
